Allen Chen

Hi, I'm Allen — a Junior at BU studying EE. Originally from Canada (Vancouver & Toronto), I moved to Taiwan where I got deep into its semiconductor industry through research and internships.

My primary focus is semiconductors, but I'm equally drawn to circuit design, power electronics, and quantum computing. I'm currently designing protection and monitoring hardware for BU Racing's Formula SAE Electric car and doing quantum hardware research at LakeLab.

Outside the lab you'll find me playing trombone in the BU Pep Band, skateboarding, or watching the Toronto Raptors.
