§01 / Featured projects
Selected work
FSAE Electric protection & monitoring boards
Safety-critical PCBs that watch the accumulator and shut the car down before a fault becomes a fire.
Quantum optics research
HF-etched fiber tapers coupling into erbium-doped photonic circuits at sub-0.1 dB loss, at the Lake Lab.
FPGA Whack-A-Mole game
A fully digital implementation of Whack-A-Mole on an FPGA, featuring custom hardware logic for game state, timing, and display.
FSAE CAN Watchdog board
Hardware watchdog that monitors CAN bus heartbeats and triggers a safe-state shutdown if the vehicle controller goes silent.
PID Solder reflow oven
Converted a toaster oven into a PID-controlled reflow oven with a custom thermal profile controller for SMD assembly.
Autonomous desk vacuum cleaner
Small autonomous robot that navigates a desk surface and vacuums debris using IR proximity sensors and a custom motor driver.
